The Pixlverse is an all encompassing 3D metaverse and Web 3.0 platform that stands on three pillars - community, gaming and decentralized finance. The Pixlverse links together experiences and Web3 tools built by its partnered communities providing a social base-layer and the opportunity for players to connect to global digital community on a deeper level by harnessing the power of blockchain gaming technologies. The Pixlverse is segmented into several modules representing the three pillars listed above.

Community is the life-blood of the Pixlverse. Our intention is to gather communities with a shared desire to develop the future of Web3. The Pixlverse will connect community initiatives (Art, NFTs, dApps, DAOs) to a thriving userbase, integrating them within the Pixlverse, a world with it’s own flourishing ecosystem. However, current P2E games are in danger of relying too heavily on financial incentives to attract players and drive the experience. Our focus is on providing a fun-first, innovative and well-polished game. Where players feel naturally incentivized to explore the Pixlverse and all it has to offer, whilst being rewarded for their time investment with $PIXL, Pixlverse NFTs and in-game items.

The Pixl Pets module is core and serves as the flagship game for the Pixlverse. Designed with all audiences in mind; both casual and competitive gamers will enjoy the unique experience it provides. Nostalgia blended with new dynamic mechanics that have not been seen before in the crypto space, nor the traditional gaming space.

The pets will serve as your companions and glue all three pillars together. They'll serve as a gaming experience, exist as your companions through the open metaverse, and will behave as the core productive assets for the world of decentralized finance.

Decentralized finance is a system designed to grant the masses access to financial applications in a permissionless way. Traditional financial institutions create atrocious barriers for the “common person”.

NFTs and the communities behind them become the access point to the Pixlverse De-Fi protocols. We have coined the "NFT legos" term which is a concept we have ideated on extensively. The building blocks (legos/assets) stack ontop of each other encouraging continual participation in the economies of scale that exist inside of the Pixlverse. NFT legos encourage productivity through collaboration, a concept that transactional value doesn’t need to be zero sum, but rather positive sum, working with other ecosystem participants can create unique earning potential that otherwise would be impossible acting alone.

The tokenomics and De-Fi protocols fueling the Pixlverse will encourage social experiences with every action that takes place, gluing the community together in a way a collaborative and exciting way.

Everything being developed Pixl Labs (The umbrella organisation wrapping the entire development arm of the project) has been designed to be accessible for all. Anybody who desires access to the Pixlverse ecosystem will be able to regardless of financial or social status. All core game loops and financial incentivisation methods will be free to access (free to play) and will be available on all platforms (PC, mobile, etc). This way access is not limited through expensive NFTs, allowing eventual adoption to be accelerated.
