An Open World

The Open World will serve as a series of interconnected community hubs representing different NFT projects or decentralised organisations. These hubs & towns will be handcrafted by Pixl Labs and fine tuned by partnered communities to provide a homogenous experience that feels natural as you navigate the wider Pixlverse. They will represent and celebrate the unique Web3 IP and brands we all know and love.

Players are incentivized to explore every part of the world through gameplay mechanics such as quests and achievements with NFT Rewards. Towns will provide social experiences through organic in-game events. The utilities and ecosystems of each project will be baked into the land they occupy, Players can access Web 3.0 tools directly in-game. Occasionally we will use hyperlinks to different products and services that are offered by partner projects but cannot be fully integrated onto the platform due to technical challenges.

A world without a narrative is incomplete and empty. Pixl Pet Campaign mode will offer a full Pixlverse Storyline storyline and Quests will help guide players through the open world, meeting lots of original characters created from Partnered NFT collections along the way. This is one of the elements of the Pixlverse that we are most excited to develop, not only will Players play as their NFTs in-game, the NPC characters of the world offer a tangible way to extend the IP of your collection and expose Pixlverse Players to the vibe of your community!

We intend to release Pixl Pets as a standalone game module to begin with, as it's likely that developement on it will complete prior to the Open World. As the Open World is developed and released, each Pixl Pets module will integrate seamlessly into the Open World and introduce Wild areas outside of the various Community Hubs.

The Pixlverse is first and foremost a platform for the Web 3 community to gather and build while sharing a userbase with values set and driven by the community. Multiple traditional brands have expressed interest in building on Pixlverse Land. This is something that we're very open to and excited about, given a shared set of values can be demonstrated!
