Pixl Pet Properties
Each Pixl Pet has a set of properties unique to it. Some properties such a Pixl Pets cosmetic traits & stat growth rates do not change, while others, like its Exp Level & its Moves, can change. Not all Pixl Pet properties are revealed to the owner! You'll have to spend time with your Pet and investigate its genetic history to get the fullest understanding of the qualities of your Pet.
Pets start at the minimum level of 1 and can grow to a maximum of Level 30.
Increasing your Pets level will:
- Raise its Stats according to its Stat Growth Rates.
- Change the tier of PvP and PvE events it can participate in.
- (If applicable) Grant access to your Pets' Rerolls at certain Level milestones.
- Improve your Pets' ability to complete Missions.
Leveling can be achieved via both PvP and PvE game modes. [Under construction - We're exploring an innovative $PIXL-EXP relationship]

There are four elements that make up the fabric of the Pixlverse as we know it today, Fire, Water, Air & Earth. These elements are distilled in their purest form and their essence imbued in the genetic signatures of the Genesis Pixl Pets. Each Element loosely relates to a traditional archtype. Fire is often aggressive and hard to control, Water is responsive and adaptive, Air is quick and manipulative, Earth is slow and sturdy. These archtypes shine through in a Pets' Stats, Moves and Cosmetics.
A Pet's element is measured as a percentage % See Breeding for details of how this is calculated.
A Pets' elemental percentage is important as it directly effects its ability to learn Moves from a given elemental Move table. For example, A Pet that is 100% Water will be able to learn Water Moves of a higher Category & Rarity than a Pet that is 50% Water, 50% Earth. The 50-50 Pet is compensated for this via limited access to the Earth Move table.

Stat type | Effect |
Health Points (HP) | The amount of damage a Pet can take before fainting |
Attack Power (ATK) | Increases damage done when a Pet executes a damaging Move |
Defence (DEF) | Lowers damage taken when targeted by another Pets' Move |
Speed (SPD) | Determines the order in which Pets on the battlefield take their Turns |
Resistance (RES) | Determines a Pets' ability to resist harmful Effects and Debuffs |
Every Pet has Base Stats, Stat Growth Rates & Current Stats
A Pets' Base Stats determines it's starting point at Level 1, for each Level it progresses it has a chance of gaining additional Stats according to it's Stat Growth Rates. Stat Growth Rates are not static throughout Levels 1-30, they can change according to complex genetic variables and additional variables.
Explanation of Move Properties - Moves Explanation of Move genetics - Breeding Every Pet is hatched with 4 Moves for use in PvP and PvE game modes. Pets have 4 Genetic Move slots which determine which Moves are carried forward in the Pet's genetics via Breeding. Pets can learn more than 4 Moves via the use of special tradable Items obtained from loot & Pixelizing unwanted Pets. These Moves enter a Pet's Memory and do not impact a Pet's genetics. However you can only ever bring 4 Moves combined from Memory & Genetic Slots into battle. This should make it easier for Players to access all the Moves required to build the perfect team!
If you're lucky your Pet will have the ability to Reroll Moves in their Genetic slots throughout the course of their Leveling and for a $PIXL cost. This is one of the only ways to directly alter a Pets genetics!
