Inspired by ageless classics such as Pokemon and Neopets — Pixl Pets is a decentralized Play and Earn blockchain game that takes place within the Pixelverse, a vast land inhabited by adorable yet feisty creatures known as Pixl Pets a land that they call home alongside you their companions.

Nobody knows the true origins of these mystical little creatures, but it is widely believed Pixl Pets were formed as a by-product of ‘the Glitch’ a mysterious cosmic event that created the Pixlverse as we know it.

Many researchers have made it their life’s work to understand exactly what happened during ‘the Glitch’ but it is a secret that eludes them to this day … what they did find from their expeditions were multiple caches of mysterious unhatched eggs that have been incubated and intensively studied ever since they were discovered.

The time has come for them to hatch.

The emerging Play and Earn genre is defined by the ability for Game Developers to leverage Crypto & NFTs to directly reward Players for spending time in their ecosystem. However, these new forms of reward do not and cannot replace the fun of well crafted original game-loops. We believe that sustainable Play and Earn models are a product of FUN games and active ecosystems that utilize P&E rewards in two primary ways:
